IPRS Health is delighted to announce an increase in capacity to Talking Therapies for Vitality members from today.
Talking Therapies is part of a range of mental health support Vitality provides, with the insurer reporting that since 2014, anxiety and depression rates among UK workers have surged 75%. Additionally, they found reported rates of depression more than doubled for employees aged 35 to 49, and in 2023 employees under the age of 50 were at significantly higher risk of anxiety and depression, with 14% of under 35s and 10% of those aged 35 to 49 being at risk, compared to 5% of those aged 50 or over.
Vitality additionally reports that they have seen a 69% decrease in more serious inpatient mental-health claims after interventions such as Talking Therapies.
Martyn Jackson, IPRS Group CEO said: "We are absolutely delighted to be adding additional capacity to our Talking Therapies services for Vitality members, reflecting the positive impact that access to these services has.
“We are committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare solutions that support both physical and mental wellbeing, with timely and convenient access to quality care.”
