IPRS Health are delighted to announce that our Mental Health service has won The Guardian Award for AHPS Working with People Who Have Mental Health Problems at the 2020 Advancing Health Care awards.
We have been delivering Mental Health services since 2012 and have continued to enhance our services based on user feedback, with our self-referral service being recognised for its innovation and increasing the speed of access to services.
The Advancing Health Care awards said of our service: “This is an excellent example of responding to the needs of the patient by increasing speed of access to service while maintaining anonymity. It makes excellent use of technology to make it easier for the patient.”
Our team designed and launched a new mental health self-referral portal to reduce waiting times, where individuals felt confident to seek support.
They then received support treatment with input from a face-face clinician in a UK-wide network or via an App using video and voice call remote CBT.
Amanda Hodgson, IPRS Health's Mental Health Clinical Service Delivery Manager, said: "Often for people experiencing mental health difficulties, taking the first step to ask for help is a really big step. Early intervention is key to help people towards recovery and to sustain their attendance in the workplace or support a return to work.
I am so proud to work for an organisation who is so innovative but also really listens to their clients’ needs in making the service more accessible for its users."
