Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a BACP counsellor listening to and helping patients find ways to deal with their emotional issues. Counselling falls into Step Two Care in the IPRS Health stepped care model.
IPRS Health provides UK-wide coverage of Counselling through our in-house team supported by a national network of therapists enabling patients to be seen within 10 working days at an average travel distance of just five miles.
Counselling can be accessed face-to-face or Virtually.
All our Counsellors must have at least 3 years of post-graduate experience, be registered with the BACP.

Following a Mental Health Assessment, if the patient requires Counselling they can access this virtually or face-to-face. If they opt for face-to-face they will be referred to a nearby counsellor within an average travel distance of just 5 miles. Their first session will be offered to them to take place within 10 working days.
If the patient would like to be treated virtually, their first counselling session is booked at a convenient time for them.
